Homecook Steamed Fish

Lately, cooking is my new hobby. Apparently Im still not good at it. But I making some progress.
It was my second attempt cooking steamed fish. Let's skip the first try because it taste weird.

The Preparation
Homecook Steamed Fish

Ingredients:
Fish (preferably with tender texture. Im using fish fillet because it is easier to clean)
Lemon
Garlic
Ginger
Chili
Soy sauce
Sugar and Pepper (according to your taste)

How to:
First, squeeze the lemon in all parts of the fish so it won't smell fishy. Let stand approximately 20 minutes.

Chopped the garlic, chili and ginger.

Put the fish in a bowl fill with sugar, pepper, 3 tablespoon soy sauce and the chopped ingredients.

Put in a pot and steamed for 15-25 minutes. And done!
In my second try, I added lemon and ginger so it tastes much better than the first one. Still need practice though.

It was my homecook dinner with bf. Glad that he liked it although it still taste 'weird'. Guess I'll visit carrefour and hanging out at kitchen more.

Turning 22

November always be my favorite month of the year. Simply because I was born in November. This year I'm turning 22. I always remind myself whenever I celebrate my birthday "Not just a year older, but a year better" My entire life, I enjoyed celebrating birthday (may be I'm still young). I can't sleep at night because of excitement, and woke up earlier enjoy the whole day to the fullest.

I've said so many times (perhaps not much in my blog) about how I really cherish 2013. As many things, mostly good things happened to me along the year.

Just in time, bf showed up and plan everything perfectly. I must admit he really succeed surprising me with all the presents such as cake, self-cook noodle, teddy bear (later we named Mr. Bow Bow), 10 roses in which each flowers hold a message, box of happiness contains many kind of my favorite chocolates, letters that make me cry, and a ring followed by the "will you marry me?". Well, it was his personal proposal, a symbol that we are strengthen our commitment and relationship. It's not as sweet as it is in movie, because it was more beautiful than that. I always dreaming about how I smiled, nod my head and softly whisper "I do" but in real life, that's just too hard to get. Because I was frozen and stiffly handed my finger. However it was lovely.

please ignore my super thick eyebag!!

Thankyou darling for everything :)
I feel grateful as there are many friends congratulate me with wishes and greetings. I spent my day with lovely bf and Vina, my ex-housemate. She's the one who introduce me to bf. I'm also pleased she finally found someone who cares for her after all this time. "Congratulate dear, you deserve the best. Longlast! :)"

My charming smile *lol*

After meal, we went to karaoke and sing all the night.. Although I didn't celebrate it with my family and besties doesn't mean they didn't take part in this historic day. They did send me their best wishes.

In the end, I would like to thank everyone who remember my birthday and made it memorable.
THANKYOU! :)

Season of Fireworks

Some memories will never fade. No matter how far the time has flies. Accidentally play old song in my playlist. Soon it bring back the good old times. A friendship I has built over these years. Since I was in elementary school, I made friend with someone call Cindy, whom later break the record 'the oldest friendship I've ever had'. She has similar posture as mine (except I'm now getting fatter), we adore the same idols, comics, movies, songs, boyband, and we just can't get enough of HEELS!

I don't know why, I missed her so much at this moment. Definitely not because of the song (that now I keep playing over and over again). Last time I met her was when I had CNY holiday which was almost a year. We still keep contact though. And she's now staying in China while pursuing her study. Back then, we shared a lot of memories.

Once, we wrote letter to each other like everyday when we sat together in class. We attached small gifts, like hairpin, fancy stickers, unique eraser, etc. So cute, right? That was the first moment I 'really made' friend with someone. Even we didn't sit together for the next few years, nothing changed. We still talked and hang out sometime. Unlike many other classmate whom will become strangers once the sitting chart was changed.

My final year as elementary student, I reunited and sat with her again. Inspired by the phenomenal F4, a former Taiwan boyband who were so popular in early 2000, we named our group Fantastic Girl (me, Cindy and Evie - later joined because she sat with us in class). I know, it sounds lame and disgust, but truth is we were quite 'well known' that time. *lol* We even sang their soundtrack in ladies room, recorded in my phone (sadly it was removed and I lost the file). We always together all the time from school to courses. We skipped English course and spend our time at market buying fashion accessories, eating and chilling. Till one day, Cindy was caught by his father.

Graduated from elementary doesn't mean we become more mature. Instead, we become wilder (in this case, please don't think about some slut teenagers). We acted like celebrity at school. We wear the same hairpin, headband, bracelet, and earrings. We had similar hairstyle. We bring hand fan wherever we go. Despite that we were not bitch because we never bully and underestimate other people. Look back at our journey, instead of ashamed I'd rather found it funny. Because that was part of my juvenile delinquency adventures.

I never believed I've grown this far. After all these years, I've become more concern about anything, and I should admit I lost half of my confidence (rather called it shameless *lol*). Life must go on babe! :)

Here the song that bring back all these memories

If this is dream, don't wake me up

Have I told you how great my life is? Im not exaggerate it, but everything seems unreal. I never think that I actually born with passion for fashion. Nor I have specific talent. Seeing a lot of people who is way better than me in any field, I should admit I doubt about myself. But God works in his own way. Ever since I become a servant of God, I feel more and more blessed. Besides that, I am feeling grateful for having a supportive bf. He encourages me all the time no matter how much I complain (he probably feel annoyed sometimes :')

He is a caring brother, good listener and advisor, amusing friend, reliable partner, a talented cook, unbelievable makeup artist, ex-model, fashion admirer, and shoe entrepreneur wanna be. There are still a lot about him that I can't write one by one. In the end, he is mine. My one and only one, RDN ♥ thanks for everything ! :)

Babbling

**** Nothing IMPORTANT here !

People say, in order to have a better future we should let go the past. I agreed. But somehow it's not easy to walk on the path we barely know. I've left Voice+ Magazine and officially work for Salt n Pepper. I admit, having a new work environment is not easy. I miss my old office desk and the people in there. But life must go on. I gotta face what's in front me.

Another thing is I'm one of the semifinalist of Lomba Perancang Mode (LPM) 2013, the most prestigious fashion competition in Indonesia. Kindly vote my design HERE by giving a thumb and help me share it. Your vote will mean so much to me.

Keep fighting ! (Even I feel so sleepy right now, and can't wait for Friday *lol*)
Have a good day, fellas! :)
