I always dreaming of having my own fashion label. Which is one of my resolution this year. I'm glad that it actually made progress. Though it's new, I believe it will last.
Why VROUWEN?
Vrouwen means women in dutch language, and my collection are for women, so it's related. They say, choosing a label name is not easy. I totally agree. Before I decided to use Vrouwen, I was planning using my own name, which I 'modified' a bit. Beside it turned out weird, some friends told me the name is not selling. Oh, well!
For more please visit VROUWEN on facebook.

Kondangan Peranakan Tionghoa
Last night I was invited to Kondangan Peranakan Tionghoa to celebrate the first year anniversary of ASPERTINA, a chinese descendants association of Indonesia. Held at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta with the chinese culture wedding as the theme. I was so excited finding the match outfits to attend the party. So, I specially make a skirt from batik. Which I modified from dress. I put a lot of afford though it. Luckily it ended the way I want. Here's the picture of my handmade batik skirt.
Basically it's a fashion show. But I didnt get the runway picture, because it way too far from my table. Another thing is it serves the Peranakan food which is so much alike with Indonesian Melayu cuisine.
The atmosphere is bringing me back to my hometown wedding party. Everything from the lighting and decoration are so 'Medan'.
I come to represent VOICE+, the magazine I work for. Luckily, I was accompanied by a colleague who helped me a lot during the interview. And he managed to take some pictures from the runway collection.

Confusion
Today was extremely tiring. I was called for job interview. Two! Could u imagine how exciting that was.
This is my very first time attending job interview. Even though I used to interview people, but still I feel so nervous. I even confused by the word "business" and wrote bussiness instead. Yeah! I know it sounds lame. Everything goes well. I talked about myself and my current job. So, Im just looking for freelance. Unfortunately both of the companies don't hire freelance. Which means, big decision should be made.
I honestly love my current job, and it will be my priority. But sometimes, I need something new. More challenging perhaps?

Voice+ Gathering
Yesterday was our first gathering as Voice+ (read: Voice Plus) team. I think we should have more gathering like this. Hanging out in cafe, and talked about work is surely more effective.
We watched The Raid (Serbuan Maut), Indonesian Movie which has published overseas. The action scene are so real, makes me goosebumps along the movie. And I should admit, proud to be Indonesian.
And here are my colleague. Sorry for the super blur picture, taken by phone.
ps. today is my friend's birthday. Happy birthday ooon, have a blast!! :)

Culinary day
Today was awesome. I interviewed Tex Saverio, who once designed Gaga's costume for harper's bazaar cover. He looked totally 'beautiful', his face is absolutely gorgeous. Even me, a real women envy his beauty. XD
The point of my post isn't that. I had another culinary trip with my work partner. Mba Tika and Mas Donang. Seems like they're my partner for my job.
We were having our lunch at Omah Sendok. It serves mostly Indonesian cuisine. The place is so romantic. An outdoor view with natural touch.

Photoshoot
Yesterday was the most tiring day of my life during 2012. We went to mall, had a small photoshoot in there. May be it was my fault wearing heels. It left scar on my feet. Hope it recover soon. Afterall, we were having nice time. Early dinner at Mos Burger.
There are 3 sessions of photoshoot. First was held at Sarinah department store. Everything went smoothly. Second shoot was taken in Centro department store in Kelapa Gading. After few hours, we were told that room is being used by other department. So, we packed back our stuffs. Shooting was starting again after 8pm. Superb tired. Everything perfectly sucks when I found my feet is in pain. Not to think twice, I put my heels aside while Im working. Soon, close time for the mall. Everyone already left the mall. Lights been turn off. Means, no one's there. So I just walk without shoes. To the exit and get in cab. Looks exactly like a lost child. *lol*
Thanks to Mba Atika dan Mas Donang for the harwork. Let's struggle next time.

Meet and Greet
As u know, Im now working for a magazine. I could call myself a fashion journalist. Probably? Ya, just name it like that. Sounds better. HAHA!
So I have a corner for fashionable people in that magazine. And I had an interview with Diana Caitilin, a fashion blogger who has a lot of visitor. And for God's sake, her outfits are all gorgeous. She has a lot of sponsor. Honestly, it was my first time (ever) to interview someone. Basically, I know nothing about journalist. And Im not a good writer. So I wonder how could my article will end up?
Speaking of interview, I was nervous (may be worse than the one I interviewed. LOL!) And once I stepped in that cafe, and met her, everything seems just fine. We talked like an hour. Mostly about our college, Limkokwing (Well, she's now studying in Limkokwing too. Haha~). Because I had already read her article in her blog. So I dont have so much question to ask, since it was written all in her blog.
Then I started asking about her activity in fashion. She's an honest girl with all her passion for fashion. Glad that I know her. Hope I could have another meet and greet with her.
Ah! Superb thanks to Riky (read: the photographer) for your time. :)
If u are interested to follow her style, here's the link.
Diana Netaneel Caitilin
After that I headed to meet someone, called Jandi. He was supposed to be the next-I-interview. Somehow, it just ended up by interviewing a girl, who was as awesome as Diana. HAHA!
She's cici Jakarta 2011. Well, she's a winner of an election. Something like, miss universe? But in a smaller definition. Of her look, I know she's an attractive girl and energetic. And yeah, she does. Talking with her, and my nervousness just flew away. I dont feel like Im officially had an interview, but more to talking with a friend? Haha~
What Im gonna say is, I LOVE MY JOB!! Meeting with great persons. It's just so awesome. Well, may be now, things seems a bit tough. But I know Im gonna work it out.
Yeaah! :D

We sing so many songs.
This isnt the first time, we end class earlier, and skip to karaoke.
After few hours, and realized we lost a lot of voice.
We then decided have a meal at next stop stand.
We ordered Strawberry Ice Floss.
And while enjoying the dessert, we gossiping around 2 hours.

No matter where we are, and what we're doing.
So what're we discussing about?

Bye Tiamo~
Well! FAREWELL!
Farewell JOB! Farewell INTERNSHIP! Farewell TIAMO!
But~ the meaning of TIAMO still stay in heart.
YEAH! 2 months passed like hell at beginning.
But it left a sweet memory in the end.
Everything seems so boring and tiring. And getting better when it almost finish.
Freedom? Is not just about relief, but to get ready and left it behind.
Become a part of the history of life.
So, what I get in these 2 months!?
A LOTS!
1st, I know what RESPONSIBILTY really meant.
Well, I admit. When I was studying, and everytime I felt lazy to get up from my bed. I could easily decided not to go! But, when it all come to WORK, I'll definetly wake up. NO MATTER HOW LAZY I AM!
2nd, I know how hard to EARN MONEY!
Since I never work before. And money come from parents. I could easily spend them.
But now, when I think I was paid Rm.5 per hour, I understand how Rm.5 will be so valuable.
I mean, I've spent ONE HOUR to stand. And I only get Rm.5, which I can buy drinks only.
And I found out my feet a bit weary. And I should spend the Rm.5 wisely of course. NOT TO WASTE IT!
3rd, I understand what they mean by DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.
I know that's common. Everybody knows that. But they dint agree with that statement.
"Ooh~ look! LV bag is hanging on her hand. She must be rich!"
Without knowing, that bag must be FAKE!
See? How easy we've cheated by eyes! LOL~
But, I learn. I mean I really have gone through this.
Well, the example above might be me.
I cant judge my customer by her BAG, OUTFIT, or even her SHOPPING PLASTIC BAG.
Bcuz sometimes, that one wear a T-Shirt with slipper, perhaps could buy some shoes from me.
YES! Really.
Dont ever trust what u see. Cuz u wont know how interesting a story just by seeing the cover.
It's true!!
4rd, I know that make friends is EASIER than I thought.
Since Im nervous to talk or start a relation with newcomer.
YEAH! We can make friend with anybody.
Colleague, customer or even strangers.
5th, last but not least. EXPERIENCE is something EXPENSIVE.
Till u cant buy it with MONEY.It's a sincerity from people who let u get it.
Well, that's what I get through this bitter-sweet 2 months.
WORTH IT!
So..
Here my HUGE THANKS for them, who give me experiences. And left a history in my life.
- Jezz Lim, my kind-hearted manager.
I thought there'll be a scary manager, who always give pressure to the staff. But thanks, u show me, it dint exist in real life. HAHA!
- Phink, my 1st colleague ever! A modest girl and hard-working. U'll be supervisor someday!
- Kak Eyda, for the help of giving me sales, when I havent open any bill yet. LOL~

And here I am! Back to my style.
Say bye to uniform, hair-bun, housekeeping and doing sales.

Nice quote and quite inspire.
But I dint mean I hate my job, okay?
May b that's not my skill to do sales. But it trained me, to be more active in sociality.
Here are the gift for my colleague. A polaroid photo. That might be an ordinary photo. YA! It seems so~
But.. deep inside that, we have our memories.
TIAMO to all Tiamo lovers!
